Kreuwalay Temple is a royal temple of the third class, classified as a wora vihara, under the jurisdiction of the Dhammayut order. It is located in the Arun Wat area of the Bangkok Yai district in Bangkok. This ancient temple dates back to the Ayutthaya period. The main ubosot and vihara face the Mon Canal, and between them, there are three large, stupa-like chedis. During the reign of King Nangklao Chao Yu Hua, the temple underwent restoration by Chao Phraya Apai Phuthon (Noi Bunyaratphan) and his daughter, Chao Chao Kreuwalay. The temple was honored with the name Kreuwalay Wora Vihara, reflecting the name of the royal consort Kreuwalay, who was the daughter of Chao Phraya Apai Phuthon. This temple also serves as a familial shrine for the Bunyaratphan family.
