The story of Thai civilization is not difficult to understand. At the Thailand Cultural Centre, visitors can explore the rich history of the Thai nation, including its society, language, and literature, as well as significant events and heroic deeds throughout Thai history. This venue serves its founding purpose to promote, preserve, and disseminate Thai arts and culture, while also facilitating the exchange of international cultural experiences. The Thailand Cultural Centre was established on July 19, 1983, under the Ministry of Education, with assistance from the Japanese government, and was officially inaugurated on October 9, 1987. Today, it operates under the Cultural Studies Institute, Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture. The Centre features a variety of buildings, including the main and smaller auditoriums, a theatre, a library, language laboratories, and audio-visual rooms. The "Thai Exhibition Hall" is located on the second floor of the exhibition and education building. Additionally, the Centre is equipped to host numerous exhibitions and performances, including concerts and theatrical productions, as well as accommodate national and international conferences with great convenience. Location: 14 Thiamruammit Road, Huai Khwang, Huai Khwang District, Bangkok. Open for visits Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
