The sports complex and recreational area for the residents of Yala features a highlight in the form of a large swimming pool covering an area of 69 rai. The Yala Municipality has beautifully landscaped the surrounding area with a sandy beach and pine trees, simulating the scenery of a coastal beach for the locals to enjoy since Yala province does not have any coastline. This replica beach was established during the tenure of General Prem Tinsulanonda as Prime Minister, who came to officiate the opening ceremony on July 21, 1986, naming it "Kwan Muang Park." Additionally, it serves as the venue for the ASEAN Voice of the Dove competition, recognized as the most standard competition field in the southern region.
