Saranwithi Bridge

Saranwithi Bridge

Pranburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Mueang Prachuap Khiri Khan District.

The Saran-Witi Bridge is one of the highlights when visiting Hua Hin. It is surrounded by numerous shops, providing a refreshing seaside atmosphere, along with a pedestrian street where people frequently come to exercise. Originally, the Saran-Witi Bridge was a fishing pier extending into the Bay of Prachuap Khiri Khan. The province has since undergone renovations to enhance the landscape of this beautiful coastal city, making it a unique and significant tourist destination. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously bestowed the name "Saran-Witi" upon this bridge, which translates to "Bridge of Happiness." She also granted permission to use the commemorative emblem in honor of Her Royal Highness on the occasion of her 60th birthday. Every Friday and Saturday, a bustling walking street along Prachuap Bay takes place, which has become incredibly popular among locals and tourists alike.
