Many people may know the Mon Bridge in Sangkhla Buri as the longest wooden bridge in Thailand. The district is located in an area known as "Sam Prasob," where three rivers—Songgaleia, Bikhli, and Ranti—converge, giving rise to the famous Kwai River, a city known for its waterways. The Mon Bridge stretches an impressive 850 meters and was constructed to span the Songgaleia River, linking the Mon community with Sangkhla Buri. It serves not only as a vital transportation route but also as a stunning viewpoint overlooking the Vajiralongkorn Dam lake, offering breathtaking views of the morning light and a glimpse into the daily life of local villagers amidst the mist.
