The Holland House is located along the banks of the Chao Phraya River, adjacent to a large shipyard in the Suan Phlu sub-district of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. Today, the original Holland House has been transformed into a museum, serving as an educational resource center about the historical relationships between Thailand and the Netherlands. The museum narrates the history of the Dutch settlers, their trade activities, and their way of life in Thailand, as well as their interactions with the Thai people. The Holland House stands on land that was once home to the trading station of the Dutch East India Company.
