This site is a memorial honoring the struggles of Chinese soldiers who assisted the Thai government in suppressing communism in the areas of Doi Luang, Doi Khao, and Doi Pah Mhan. This museum and memorial were built out of love and respect from the local community to commemorate the noble deeds of the former Chinese Nationalist soldiers. It also aims to promote and develop tourism in Doi Mae Salong. Upon entering the museum through its gates, you will encounter several key areas. The main building, known as the "Museum of Heroes of the Former Chinese Nationalist Soldiers in Northern Thailand," is centrally located and beautifully designed in Chinese architectural style. Within it lies the "Spirit Plaque" dedicated to the deceased soldiers. To the left, you will find Exhibition Room 1, which narrates the journey and history of the Chinese soldiers from before their arrival in Thailand, focusing on important combat dates. This room features models depicting battlefields and troop movements, as well as displays of soldiers' belongings from that era. Exhibition Rooms 2 and 3 are located on the right side, showcasing the various forms of assistance provided by Chinese associations for those in need, including both material aid and scholarships. The museum is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with an entry fee of 30 baht for Thai visitors and 50 baht for foreigners.
