The Piyamit Tunnel is a site rich in historical significance, serving as an insightful nature study trail. I was particularly impressed by the excellent management and cleanliness maintained by the staff. Constructed in 1976, the Piyamit Tunnel is a historical site from the Malayan Communist insurgency. It is located in Piyamit Village, Tanoh Mareh Sub-district, Betong District, Yala Province, and stretches approximately 1 kilometer in length. Originally, the tunnel had nine exits, but now only six remain. The Piyamit Tunnel has been transformed into a tourist attraction, welcoming visitors to explore its fascinating history.
