The Khao Sanam Phrang Wildlife Sanctuary is an area surrounded by various mountain ranges, encompassing approximately 101 square kilometers or about 63,125 rai. With its stunning landscape and rich wildlife habitat, the Kamphaeng Phet Province designated this area for the conservation of natural resources and as a tourist attraction. It was officially declared a national park on March 1, 1984. Recognizing the significance of this area, the government established it as the Khao Sanam Phrang Wildlife Sanctuary in 1985.
