Khao Chong Lom is currently a popular destination in Nakhon Nayok, often referred to as the “Greenland of Thailand.” This lush paradise is conveniently located near the capital, nestled within the area of the Khun Dan Prakarn Chon Dam, and shares the same verdant landscape as Khao Yai National Park. The best time to visit this enchanting place is between July and September when the rain has just started to fall, making the forests incredibly lush. During this period, visitors can also marvel at the small and large rock formations, along with flowing streams. To reach Khao Chong Lom, one must take a boat from the service point at Khun Dan Dam. The boat journey takes approximately 15 minutes and stops at four stunning locations: Nam Tok Phangam Ngon, Nam Tok Khlong Kram, Nam Tok Ton Nam, and Nam Tok Khao Chong Lom. The cost for a private boat is 1,500 Baht, while the price per person is 200 Baht.
