This area is considered a historical tourist attraction. Once, King Chulalongkorn, also known as Rama V, visited Khao No by traveling north via waterways along the Ping River in 1906. Later, in 1909, he generously donated items to Phra Luang Phor Hyam of Wat Ban Dan.
