The Amphawa-Chai Phatthana Conservation Project is an initiative of the Chaipattana Foundation under the royal patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. This project aims to preserve the local wisdom of the residents and the way of life in Amphawa, infusing the area with the essence of life along the riverside market. The project features lush surroundings and spaces for relaxation, as well as several zones for tourists to explore. One of these areas is the Cultural Zone, where various activities are arranged on a rotating basis. There is also the Amphawa Folk Museum, which showcases ancient artifacts. Additionally, visitors can find souvenir shops, local products, and a selection of restaurants and coffee shops, making it a delightful destination for all.
