Located in Ban Song Khon, Pong Kham Sub-district, this Roman Catholic church is nestled by the Mekong River. It was built as a memorial to Blessed Martyrs, commemorating the seven individuals who sacrificed their lives to uphold their faith in the Lord during the conflict between Thailand and France during World War II. The building features modern architectural design and was honored with an Outstanding Architecture Award from the Association of Siamese Architects under Royal Patronage in 1996. The Blessed Martyr committee organizes two celebration events each year, on October 22 and December 16. The Ban Song Khon Church is open to visitors for worship and observation every day from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, free of charge. Visitors are advised to behave respectfully and dress modestly. Christians are welcome to participate in the Mass every Sunday at 7:00 AM.
