MK.. grew up from a family business. It is a small Thai restaurant in Siam Square area run by Auntie Thongkam Mekto, who bought the business from Makong King Yee, who moved her family to Boston. United States of America in 1962. Auntie runs a business with love of service. Until the customers who come to support are impressed come back to eat again and eventually became a regular customer. That was because of Auntie's kindness. There were many famous dishes in those days such as chicken rice, stewed beef, pad thai, pad kee mao, Korean grilled beef (charcoal oven), spicy salad, and delicious cakes for sale in the new year as well. The business began to progress gradually until in 1984, many department stores began to pop up. Auntie was persuaded to open a shop in Central Ladprao under Khun Samrit Chirathivat and gave the new shop a name that was Kree. MK, which is still a Thai restaurant as before have family customers And in 1986, Mr. Sumrit persuaded him to open the first MK Suki restaurant in Central Ladprao. Suki was a great menu that attracted customers to come to the store continuously until finally expanding more branches. Up until now, there are more than 400 M.K. branches nationwide and branches in foreign countries such as Japan, Vietnam, Singapore and Indonesia.
