The first giant mailbox is located at the corner of Sukyang Road, in front of the clock tower, in the heart of Betong. Built in 1924, before World War II, this landmark was constructed by Khun Sa-nguan Jirachinda, a former telegraph postmaster and the past mayor of Betong. The mailbox features a radio broadcast on its upper section, originally intended to inform the people of Betong about local news. It still serves as a mailbox to this day. Currently, a new, larger mailbox has been erected near the community hall on Sukyang Road. Standing at 9 meters tall, it has become a popular photo spot for tourists looking to capture lasting memories of their visit.
