Located on Koh Si Chang, it was built during the reign of King Rama V to serve as a summer residence. In front lies Tha Wang beach, with the beautiful Ahtang Bridge extending into the sea. Moving upwards, you'll find the Watthana building, the Phanya Royal Pavilion made of intricately carved wood, the Phongsri building or octagonal sala, and the Arirami Pavilion. There is also a statue of King Rama V and Wat Ahtang Kanimit, situated atop a hill, showcasing a blend of Thai and Western architectural styles. The area features a swimming pool, a water source, a bell tower, a pier, and a museum that is open for visitors every day (except Mondays) from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On weekends and public holidays, the museum stays open until 7:30 PM. You can stroll around the outside area daily from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and there is no admission fee.
