Phra Narai Ratchaniwet is a royal palace built by King Narai the Great in 1666 on an area of 41 rai in Lop Buri to be used as a residence, hunting, governor and welcoming visitors. He stayed at this palace for about 8-9 months at the end of his reign and passed away at the Suthasawan Throne Hall on July 11, 1688. The King Narai Ratchaniwet Museum has the entire area within the palace divided into 3. The district is that after the end of the reign, this palace was abandoned. Until King Mongkut has graciously To restore and repair this palace and to build a new throne room. At present, Phra Narai Ratchaniwet is used as a museum.
