I came to pay homage to the sacred relic of the Buddha, making merit and lighting candles as per tradition. This stupa showcases a unique blend of architectural styles from Sukhothai, Ayutthaya, and the Rattanakosin period. Inside, there is a Buddha statue, and the pinnacle of the stupa houses the holy relics, which are the ashes of the Buddha, brought from Sri Lanka by His Majesty the King as a gift to the local people after the end of the communist conflict in Thailand. Another highlight is the "Chamber of Secrets," where visitors stand in line to uncover its mysteries. Once you enter, photography is strictly prohibited, and you must not share what you see with others. What secrets lie within this chamber remains a mystery—if you wish to know, you must witness it with your own eyes. This serene location features a towering stupa surrounded by lush trees, ample parking, and is easily accessible as it is right off the road leading to Khao Kho Palace and the viewpoint for sea of clouds. In the evening, it provides a tranquil spot to relax and stroll around the stupa peacefully. It’s definitely a place worth visiting and paying respect to when you get the chance.
