National Museum Silpa Bhirasri Memorial

The National Museum of Silpa Bhirasri is located on Na Phra That Road, opposite Sanam Luang and near the entrance to the Grand Palace. It was established to commemorate Professor Silpa Bhirasri, an Italian artist hailed as the father of modern art in Thailand. The museum features an atmosphere reminiscent of the time when he worked there, along with works by various artists who were among his early students. It is open from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and is closed on weekends and public holidays. Admission is free. For more information, please call 0 2223 6162.
