In front of the museum lies an impressive collection of 40 ancient cannons, including the Narai Sangan cannon, the Phaya Thani cannon, and a set of custom-made cannons from France. These pieces are showcased beautifully, creating an open-air museum that displays artillery dating from the late Ayutthaya period to the Rattanakosin era. The cannons are neatly arranged by age and period, and have been meticulously maintained, standing elegantly alongside the Grand Palace.
