It is the first Roman Catholic church in Thailand, located along the Chao Phraya River in the Samphao Lom Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. This church was constructed during the Ayutthaya period. The first building, as recorded by the clergy and His Excellency François Palou, was established in 1662 (B.E. 2205). This church is situated right next to the Chao Phraya River, featuring beautiful interior designs and a serene exterior view.
