I stopped by to pay my respects to the revered statue of King Naresuan the Great, the monarch who liberated the Siamese people and restored their independence. The shrine opens in the morning, and on certain days, there are offerings made to honor him. Right in front of the entrance to the shrine, you will find vendors selling flowers, incense, and candles—everything you need for your offerings. There’s ample parking available at the nearby Chan Palace.
