Covering over 3,000 rai, this area primarily consists of wetlands and was established as a research center for the Eastern region's diverse flora. It serves to preserve over 400 rare and endangered plant species that are difficult to find elsewhere in Thailand. The center also offers exciting eco-tourism activities such as nature cycling, kayaking, and flat-bottom boat rides through the plethora of wetlands, including the expansive Bang Sa La and Nong Jarung, perfect for birdwatching. You might spot resident migratory birds such as the Kingfisher, Stork-billed Kingfisher, and various species of ducks. Visitors can also enjoy unique plant species like the Dog's Tail Grass and admire a variety of lotus flowers. A highlight of the center is the ancient Samet Forest, where the white and red Samet trees cast their shadows beautifully across the water's surface. The center is open every day from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. For inquiries, please call 0 3863 8983 or 0 3863 8981.
