Khao Ramrom is located within the boundaries of the Yong Waterfall National Park and has earned the title of the "Land of Ancient Flora and Dinosaurs." The area is characterized by dense rainforest. The viewpoint at the summit stands approximately 966 meters above sea level, offering a breathtaking panorama. Here, you can find the ancient giant fern, a relic from the age of dinosaurs, which serves as an indicator of the area's ecological richness. The atmosphere at the peak is one of intricate high mountain ranges, creating a spectacular landscape where you can witness the sea of mist in the early morning, along with stunning sunrises. Notably, this summit provides a clear view of the coastline at Cape Talumpuk, extending all the way to Chian Yai District, Ron Phibun District, Phra Phrom District, Thung Song District, and the prominent Hem Mountain. To reach Khao Ramrom, depart from Thung Song District and travel along Highway 403 for approximately 15 kilometers. After that, turn left near the Ron Phibun District Office and continue along the road to the Ramrom summit for another 14 kilometers.
