Brief History
สำหรับที่มาของคำว่า "สระบุรี" สันนิษฐานว่า เพราะเหตุที่ทำเลที่ตั้งครั้งแรกมีบึงอยู่ใกล้ คือ "บึงหนองโง้ง" เมื่อตั้งเมืองขึ้นจึงได้นำเอาคำว่า "สระ" มารวมเข้ากันกับคำว่า "บุรี" เป็นชื่อเมือง "สระบุรี"
