เป็นเทวสถานเก่าของขอม สร้างด้วยศิลาแลงเรียงซ้อนกันเป็นฐานสูง ที่ทับหลังซึ่งทำด้วยศิลาทรายสลักเป็นรูปพระนารายณ์บรรทมสินธุ์อายุราวพุทธศตวรรษที่ 16 วางอยู่ติดฝาผนังวิหารหลังเล็กชั้นบน ณ ที่นี้ได้พบหลักศิลาจารึกแปดเหลี่ยมจารึกอักษรมอญโบราณด้วย ส่วนด้านหน้าเป็นศาลที่สร้างขึ้นเมื่อ พ.ศ. 2494 โดยสร้างทับบนรากฐานเดิมที่สร้างไว้ในรัชสมัยสมเด็จพระนารายณ์มหาราช ภายในวิหารประดิษฐานพระนารายณ์ยืน ทำด้วยศิลา 2 องค์เป็นประติมากรรมแบบลพบุรี แต่พระเศียรเดิมหายไปภายหลังมีผู้นำพระเศียรพระพุทธรูปศิลาทรายสมัยอยุธยามาสวมต่อไว้เป็นที่เคารพสักการะของประชาชนทั่วไป

พระปรางค์สามยอดนี้เดิมคงเป็นเทวสถานของขอมในพุทธศาสนาลัทธิมหายาน ต่อมาได้ดัดแปลงเป็นเทวสถานโดยมีฐานศิวลึงค์ปรากฎอยู่ในองค์ปรางค์ทั้ง 3 องค์ จนกระทั่งถึงรัชสมัยสมเด็จพระนารายณ์มหาราช ได้บูรณะปฏิสังขรณ์ให้เป็นวัดในพระพุทธศาสนา แล้วสร้างพระวิหารก่อด้วยอิฐ ลักษณะสถาปัตยกรรมแบบอยุธยาผสมแบบยุโรปในส่วนของประตูและหน้าต่าง ภายในวิหารประดิษฐานพระพุทธรูปหินทรายปางมารวิชัย ศิลปะแบบอยุธยาตอนต้น
