ภายในโบสถ์ปรกโพธิ์นั้นมีหลวงพ่อพุทธมณีนิล หรือ หลวงพ่อโบสถ์น้อย หรือ หลวงพ่อดำ พระพุทธรูปปางมารวิชัย สมัยอยุธยาตอนปลายประดิษฐานอยู่ และมีภาพจิตรกรรมฝาผนังที่งดงามแสดงเรื่องราวพุทธประวัติ ทำให้วัดบางกุ้งเป็นสถานที่ท่องเที่ยวสำคัญอีกแห่งหนึ่งของสมุทรสงคราม
