The Queen's Building, known as "Red Building" by the locals from Ang Sila, has an intriguing history. Once, Princess Dara Rasamee, the daughter of the Prince of Chiang Mai and the royal consort of King Rama V, stayed here to recuperate in 1906. During her stay, she noticed that the Ang Sila area lacked fresh water, which led her to express a wish to hire someone to dig a fresh water well. This initiative was intended to provide the locals with access to fresh water, a service that is still visible in the area today.
