The Walking Street is held every Saturday on Wua Lai Road near the city gate of Chiang Mai, and every Sunday on Thapae Road by the Thapae Gate extending to Ratchadamnoen Road. The vendors are mostly locals from the Wua Lai area, making it smaller than the Thapae Walking Street. Wua Lai is known for its silver-making village, where both production and sale of silverware take place. Additionally, there is a wide variety of local products available to choose from.
