Located at 628 Singha Khlai Road, near the entrance intersection to Koh Loy Road, this historical building in the heart of Chiang Rai is known as the OMF Missionary House. Designed by Dr. William A. Briggs, it is over 103 years old and has been restored to serve as the headquarters for the Mod Chana Phai Foundation. The foundation aims to be a center for learning about architecture and disaster management while also serving as a gateway to artistic narratives for interested visitors. The venue features art displays, showcasing works from National Artists, renowned Thai artists, as well as pieces that celebrate the beauty of Chiang Rai. At the front of the building, there is a vibrant yellow shop called "Mod Nom Sod" (Fresh Milk Ant) on the ground floor, which houses the Baanmod Cafe, a cozy coffee shop. The second floor has been transformed into a gallery, featuring various art exhibitions. The site is open for visits from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is closed on Wednesdays.
