Elephant Pang, Hat Yai

86 Moo 1, Kanjanavanit Road, Thung Yai, Hat Yai.

When it comes to elephant camps in Thailand, the northern provinces often come to mind. However, in Hat Yai district of Songkhla province, there is also an elephant camp known as Chang Puak Camp. This camp features elephant shows that involve tourists, particularly children, to enhance their excitement and engagement during the performances. In addition to the captivating elephant acts, there are also magical performances that everyone loves, making the experience even more enjoyable. Visitors can partake in additional activities like riding on the backs of elephants to explore the surrounding nature. For those looking for more adventure, the camp offers thrilling options such as ATV riding, archery, and shooting, alongside relaxing services like foot massages and spa treatments for complete rejuvenation. Historically, Hat Yai was primarily known for natural attractions, lacking animal-related entertainment or unique activities. Therefore, Chang Puak Camp has emerged as a new tourist hotspot in Hat Yai, receiving warm support from both Thai and international visitors, especially from Malaysia, who frequently visit. Chang Puak Camp is open daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is conveniently located at Moo 1, Thung Yai sub-district (along the old road to Songkhla), not far from Hat Yai city center.
