The yellow building, styled in European architecture, stands out majestically within the area of the 12th Military District, the first military camp in Thailand. It was founded by His Excellency General Prince Chakrabongse Bhuvanath, the Duke of Phitsanulok Prachanat. He was the 40th of 97 offspring of King Rama V and studied at a military academy in Russia, where he continued to learn military tactics. He later brought his knowledge back to improve the Thai military establishment. Visitors to this museum typically come in groups, including students who come to listen to lectures on the historical significance of Chakrabongse Camp. Sergeant Major Napaporn has recommended watching the video series "100 Years of Chulachakra Pong," commemorating the centenary of Prince Chulachakra Pong, the only son of His Excellency Prince Chakrabongse and Princess Katharine, a commoner from Russia. Prince Chul grew up during the late reign of King Rama V, becoming the first grandchild of King Rama V and Queen Sri Phatcharindra. The content, images, and narration are all intriguing, allowing visitors to sit back and enjoy the presentations in the main room of the museum.
