The vision of Phra Khru Uthai Thammathani (Saeng Sukito), the former abbot of Wat Pa Ma Fai, aimed to preserve ancient artifacts and collections generously donated by devotees, leading to the creation of a valuable museum. This museum serves both as a repository for precious antiques and as a learning resource for future generations. Established in 1993, the museum building features two floors. The first floor serves as a public area, an office, and an exhibition space showcasing the history of the museum, renowned monks from Prachinburi province, Buddhist statues, amulets, various talismans, pottery, Thai and Chinese ceramics, bronze bracelets, earthenware, porcelain, different poses of Buddha statues, Thai coins, and historical currency from neighboring countries. It also includes a round-shaped five-legged gourd. On the second floor, visitors can view the Phra Siam Devaraj statue, created by the temple with royal permission from His Majesty the King. Following its completion, the statue garnered an unexpectedly positive response from the collective faith of the people, making this particular Phra Siam Devaraj a rare and highly valued piece. Additionally, in the same area, there is an exhibition of Benjarong porcelain dishes featuring ancient designs, along with a half-life-sized glazed statue of a Chinese deity. The museum is open every day, including public holidays, from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
