Nakhon Ratchasima City Museum

Nakhon Ratchasima, the city of Nakhon Ratchasima.

The Nakhon Ratchasima City Museum has evolved from the “Nakhon Ratchasima Cultural Hall,” established in 1980. At that time, the Arts and Culture Department of Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University was still functioning as the cultural center of the Nakhon Ratchasima Teacher's College, with the then-Cadet Lieutenant Thaworn Subongkot serving as the head of the center. Initially, rooms 514-515 were designated for the collection of antiquities, artworks, and various other items acquired through donations and purchases. By 1986, the Cultural Hall was relocated to Building 2, which is the original wooden structure of the institution.
