Wat Ronna is located in Moo 2, Ronphiboon Subdistrict. It is believed to have been established during the Ayutthaya period, as evidenced by the remaining ruins. The statue of Phra Mae Setthi, which is a 1.70-meter tall Buddha in the posture of holding a alms bowl, is considered a sacred symbol cherished by the people of Nakhon Si Thammarat. Devotees pay their respects and when their prayers are answered, they honor the deity by offering flowers, incense, candles, gold leaf, and setting off firecrackers as a form of gratitude.
