Wat Nong Chap Tao

Enter Rural Highway 1003 and drive for about 2 kilometers.

The highlight of Wat Nong Jab Tao undoubtedly earns its reputation as one of the most beautiful temples near Bangkok. With such stunning beauty, how could any of us who seek merit possibly pass it up? As for getting to the temple, it's quite straightforward. If you're coming from Highway 331, just drive about 9 kilometers, and you'll arrive in no time. Once you enter the main hall, you'll find the principal Buddha statue, Luang Por Mongkhon Chok, surrounded by Naga serpents, much like the exterior decoration. Additionally, there is a large Phaya Tao Ruen (Giant Tortoise) statue located beside the hall, where visitors can pay their respects and seek blessings. Many tourists take part in the tradition of crawling through the belly of the Phaya Tao for an added touch of auspiciousness. Gold leaf application on the turtle is also available for those wishing to enhance their good fortune.
