Originally a Chinese temple, it has now transformed into a Vietnamese temple in the Mahayana tradition. Inside the temple, it features a shrine-like structure that houses the statue of Phra Phuttha Thotsaphon (Phra Trairattanayok), known among the Chinese as "Jao Por Sam Bor Kong." In Thailand, there are only three such statues, and one of them is located here.
