Wat Pho Bang Khla

Inside the temple there is a bell-shaped pagoda. Adorned with yellow, blue and white mirrors, they are strangely beautiful. Everyone who visits this temple will be dazzled by seeing a flock of hen bats, the largest species of bats in the world, clinging to the trees. Inside Wat Pho Bang Khla This is an old temple that is assumed to have been built around the year 2310-2325 during the reign of King Taksin the Great. Due to the architecture of the temple is a combination of Ayutthaya and early Rattanakosin art. It is a brick-and-mortar temple of Chaturaphak. The gable roof is covered with terracotta tiles. Inside is enshrined a reclining Buddha image that is revered by the general public. In addition, those who cruise the Bang Pakong River can travel to visit this temple by taking a boat from the temple's pier. Wat Pho Bang Khla has undergone many renovations. But every time the temple is repaired, the temple still takes into account the preservation of traditional arts in order to preserve the value of cultural heritage for future generations to learn.
