The City Pillar Shrine of Surin boasts beauty both inside and outside, featuring intricate Laotian-style art. It holds significant importance and is revered by the locals of Surin. Located approximately 500 meters to the west of the provincial hall, it originally was just a shrine without a city pillar, existing for over a century. Later, the Fine Arts Department redesigned and constructed the new city pillar shrine, using ironwood from Kanchanaburi. The wooden pillar stands 3 meters tall, with a circumference of 1 meter.
