From the land that was once ravaged by wildfires, restoration efforts led by Professor Arun Chaiseri in 1989 have revitalized this beautiful Himmathat Forest Park. You can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere on the expansive lawn, adorned with Malaysian grass, and refreshed by the Anodart pond, which is used for watering the plants and extinguishing fires. The park is continuously adding new trees, boasting over 1,000 species across more than 700 rai of land. Himmathat Forest Park features comfortable pavilions where visitors can admire breathtaking views of the sunrise and sunset. Scattered throughout the area are large, rare trees with unique characteristics, some of which you may have never heard of before. The “Nern Mai Kham” area is a highlight, while the “Nern Mai Hom” section showcases an array of aromatic plants right at the park’s entrance. Each section includes cozy spots perfect for resting and enjoying the surroundings. In addition to these attractions, there are other interesting features such as the Golden Road, a pine tree garden, bougainvillea displays, the Dharma Maze area, the Rock Flower Garden, Anodart pond, the Thak Thao field, animal sculptures from Himmathat, and don't miss the chance to pay respect to the Buddha statue at Phathumratana Chedi Srimanthawong. The park is located in Khao Kho District, Phetchabun Province.
