The King U Thong Monument is situated between Phra Ram Lake and Wat Phra Si Sanphet. This statue of King U Thong is half the size of an average person and is crafted from bronze, coated with a green patina. The statue depicts the king standing with his right hand holding a sword, and he wears a royal attire reminiscent of early Ayutthaya kings. His Majesty the King officially inaugurated the monument on June 24, 1970.
