Thap Lan National Park

520 Kabinburi - Pak Thong Chai Road, Bophram, Na Di District, Prachinburi 25220, Thailand.

Thanburi National Park, located in the northeastern and eastern regions of Thailand, encompasses areas within the districts of Pak Thong Chai, Wang Nam Khiao, Krubi, and Seur Sang in Nakhon Ratchasima province, as well as the Na Di district in Prachin Buri province. The park is rich in biodiversity and features a rare type of forest known as "lan," which can only be found in certain locations. Natural "lan" trees thrive here, and the park serves as the source of various rivers and streams. Its stunning landscapes include deep gorges, cliffs, and waterfalls, making it the second-largest national park in Thailand, just after Kaeng Krachan National Park. On July 14, 2005, Khao Yai National Park, Thap Lan National Park, Pang Sida National Park, Ta Phraya National Park, and Dong Yai Wildlife Sanctuary were recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site under the title "Bangkok-Dong Phayayen-Khao Yai Forest Complex." In 2020, Thap Lan National Park was awarded the Golden Level (Excellent) in the Green National Parks awards, highlighting its commitment to environmental conservation and sustainable tourism.
