Wat Chanasanakham is located to the north of Wat Mahathat in the Sukhothai Historical Park, near the city pillar. Originally known as Wat Ratchaburana, this temple is distinguished by its large bell-shaped stupa, which serves as the main chedi. The complex includes a few remnants of a vihara showcasing laterite pillars, as well as parts of the ubosot and some bases of the steeple. Additionally, there are two smaller stupas in the shape of a vihara, resembling those found in the historical park of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya.
