The Historical Park of Si Thep is an important archaeological site located in Phetchabun Province. The park encompasses the ancient ruins of the old city of Si Thep, which was originally known as "Amphoe Apaisali." This ancient city was discovered when Prince Damrong Rajanubhab visited Phetchabun Province for an official inspection, after which he renamed the city "Si Thep."
