Khao Luang National Park is a national park located in Nakhon Si Thammarat province. It was established based on a resolution by the Cabinet, designating Khao Luang and 13 other forests in the Nakhon Si Thammarat area as a national park. The Forestry Department conducted preliminary surveys of the area around Khao Luang, which was affected by storms in 1962, resulting in the uprooting of numerous large trees. Furthermore, this forest holds significant value and is worthy of preservation for recreational purposes.
